Why use Kratom Capsules?
Since the threat of banning kratom by the DEA, hundreds of thousands of people have learned about kratom that wasn’t aware of it before. People are asking all types of questions….what is kratom? Is kratom a drug? What forms does kratom come in? How much kratom should I take? And the list goes on.
KRATOM CAPSULES ARE POPULAR RIGHT NOW.
Kratom is a plant that’s kin to the coffee plant. The biggest reason it’s popular is because of its opiate-like properties. Kratom affects opiate receptors. This is important because we have an epidemic of pain medications here in the United States. Millions of people are hooked on pain pills and it’s taking control of their lives. Many have found kratom to be an alternative and many have beat addiction to opiates (pain pills) with kratom.
I’m not a doctor. This is not medical advice and you should always check with your doctor before taking any supplement. s a matter of fact, kratom has not been approved by the FDA for human consumption. Does this mean that kratom is dangerous? Not likely. Indonesians have been using kratom for centuries.
Kratom leaves are harvested and then dried. Once dried, the leaves are often ground into a fine dust-like powder. Many people simply mix kratom in a liquid and drink it. If that’s the case you may be wondering why would anyone bother with kratom capsules. The taste…. Kratom tastes awful. I mean really bad. Some people mix kratom with a citrus drink like orange juice or tang. The citrus does help, but it’s still far from tasty.

KRATOM CAPSULES ARE BENEFICIAL IN SEVERAL WAYS.
- They help with the taste. Using capsules keeps us from having to taste this fantastic plant.
- Dosing – I recommend using as little as possible to get the desired effect. For me, that’s usually 2-3 grams. If using kratom powder, you simply weigh out 2-3 grams, mix it in a liquid and drink it down. Many people don’t have a scale. A level teaspoon tends to be about 3 grams, but it’s guessing. With capsules, you just do the math. Here’s a video I did on dosing kratom without a scale.
Our capsules have .6 grams in each one. If I want 3 grams, I take 5. 5 x .6 = 3 grams. Pretty simple.
3 Grams of kratom powder in a teaspoon.

- Another reason to have your kratom in capsules is that it’s easy to carry them with you. If you have kratom powder, you bring the powder with you. Bring a cup or bottle to mix it in. Bring a spoon…. and even then, it’s messy.
Kratom capsules are convenient. Just bring them along and wash them down with something to drink.
It does take kratom a little longer to feel the effects of kratom when taking capsules. About 10 more minutes, so 20 – 30 minutes is normal.
